Events in Masham and group bookings at the Bay Horse
Masham has lots of events going on through out the year – MASHAM STEAM ENGINE RALLY takes place the 3rd weekend in July, SHEEP FAIR the last weekend in September and THE VICTORIAN FAIR in December – all are well worth a visit.
Ripon, Wetherby and Thirsk races are all within a stones throw away from The Bay - we would be happy to arrange transport and entry to the races for groups wishing to stay with us.
Or if horses are not for you then why not try clay pigeon shooting at Warren Gill or Fishing at nearby Leighton resevoir. For the children there is Lightwater Valley Theme Park and Forbidden Corner which are both worth a visit.
If you enjoy walking, their are some beautiful walks, following the river and around our local Nature Reserve where rare birds live in abundance.
We can sleep up to Thirteen people in a group - and the few groups we have had stay have thoroughly enjoyed themselves judging by the letters of thanks we have on our ‘thank ewe’ wall!
We can cater in one room up to 25 people so if you would like a birthday party with a three course meal we can arrange for you to have the room to yourselves and will discuss a menu of your choice for your special event!
