The Bay Horse, Masham is situated in the heart of Masham and the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. It is an ideal place to stay as it is near to many local attractions.
Masham is a town, boasting the largest market place in England and has lots of lovely quaint shops to visit during your stay. The two sweet shops offer tempting goodies which will bring back childhood memories! We have an art gallery, gift shops, wine shop and a delicatessen that sells gorgeous cheeses, pickles and other delicious bits and pieces. There is a market twice a week on a Wednesday and Saturday.
The Bay Horse is warm, welcoming and friendly, serving delicious homemade food and homemade chips! All our food is cooked to order so we do ask for our customers to be patient especially during busy times. We try to source our food as locally as possible and use our two local butchers as much as we can. We serve food everyday – on a lunch time and evening and ALL DAY on a saturday and Sunday. On Sundays we have tradional Roasts with homemade Yorkshire Pudding - delicious! We also have seasonal special dishes – such as pheasant and occassionally Rabbit Pie!

Our two bars offer comfortable seating, with two real roaring fires to welcome you on a cold winters day, traditional wooden floors and a cosy atmosphere. We have a choice of real cask ales, two of which are from our two local breweries, Black Sheep and Theakstons. The two breweries are situated in Masham and offer brewery tours daily. Free WIFI available too.
